Substantiation	Palforzia werkt als een orale immunotherapie. Het is dus geen geneesmiddel en helpt enkel om de allergische reactie te verminderen. In de fase 3 studie PALISADE werd aangetoond dat bij 67.2% van de kinderen een allergische reactie uitbleef na het nemen van minstens 600 mg pinda proteïne en het volgen van de immunotherapie, terwijl dit bij de placebo groep slechts 4% was.
