Substantiation	In GINA 2019 wordt in stap 4 en 5 de mogelijkheid genoemd om LAMA toe te voegen. Als er een goede indicatie voor LAMA bestaat, is een vaste triple combinatie wel patiënt vriendelijker. Er ontstaat echter minder flexibiliteit om een onderdeel van de triple combinatie te stoppen. Er bestaat daarom gevaar van overbehandeling, dus de voorschrijver dient goed de start- en stop-criteria voor ogen te houden.

Additional remarks	In 2015 waren er naar schatting 613.500 personen met astma 5-10% van de astmapopulatie is moeilijk instelbaar (30.000-60.000). Afhankelijk van de precieze indicatiestelling en de plaats in de behandelrichtlijn zal een deel van deze patiënten in aanmerking komen. De werkgroep schat in dat dit ongeveer 5.000-15.000 patiënten zal bedragen, dit aantal zou echter ook hoger uit kunnen vallen. Op dit moment hebben veel patiënten een losse triple, 15 - 20% heeft al een triple. Als trimbow juist wordt ingezet zal het slechts in de plaats komen van medicatie die bestaat uit de drie losse onderdelen.
