Substantiation Lenalidomide-R-CHOP: resultaten van de fase 3 studie worden begin 2019 verwacht. De eerste twee fase 3 studies R-CHOP + X bij ABC subtype DLBCL waren negatief (bortezomib, ibrutinib). Celgene gebruikt de nanostring method om ABC subtype te bepalen in deze studie. Nog te vroeg om een oordeel te geven m.b.t. de mogelijke therapeutische waarde.

Additional remarks Vaste duur van behandeling: 6 cycli van 3 weken; 18 weken totaal. Per cyclus van 21 dagen wordt lenalidomide op dag 1-14 ingenomen.

Additional remarks Ongeveer 1500 patiënten per jaar met DLBCL (NKR). Ongeveer 40% van de DLBCL patiënten heeft subtype ABC (Lymphoma Coalition). Dit gaat om maximaal 600 patiënten. Echter niet iedereen zal met chemo/CHOP behandeld kunnen worden (ouderen, co-morbiditeiten). De inschatting is 400 patienten per jaar.
