SSc-ILD betreft complexe diagnostiek en indicatiestelling voor behandeling; dit verloopt dan ook veelal in of in overleg met een erkend expertisecentrum voor ILD; er zijn op dit moment twee landelijk en internationaal erkende expertisecentra voor ILD: het St Antonius Ziekenhuis Nieuwegein en EMC Rotterdam; de indicatiestelling Ofev bij IPF gebeurt reeds enkele jaren in of in overleg met erkende expertisecentra voor deze aandoening; hiervoor zijn zorgnetwerken rondom deze expertisecentra opgezet.
