Substantiation	De verwachting is dat remimazolam met name de concurrentie zal aangaan met propofol mits het bijwerkingenprofiel gunstiger blijkt te zijn. Indien de kosten gelijk zijn aan propofol is de potentie van remimazolam groot gezien de farmacokinetische voordelen. Voor langdurige sedatie op de Intensive Care is nog meer onderzoek nodig. Voor kortdurende sedatie is het zeker geschikt.
