Substantiation	Er zijn nog geen gegevens bekend. Indien de therapeutische waarde gelijk blijkt aan 5FU/capecitabine zal het ingezet worden op het moment dat dit niet veilig is om toe te dienen. In het geval van bijvoorbeeld symptomen van hartfalen of cardiovasculaire bijwerkingen.

De incidentie van anuscarcinoom neemt toe, dit zal nu rond de 330 patiënten per jaar zijn. Slechts een klein deel ontwikkelt (max 25%) stadium IV ziekte en dan nog kan het merendeel de standaardbehandeling gaan krijgen. Er wordt verwacht dat er uiteindelijk 20 tot 30 patiënten in aanmerking zullen komen.
