Additional remarks In 2016 werd naar schatting bij 54.900 mensen knieartrose gediagnostiseerd. De prevalentie in 2016 bedroeg 571.600 patiënten. Hoeveel hiervan pijnstillers gebruikt is niet bekend. Afhankelijk van de precieze indicatiestelling zal bij een deel hiervan tanezumab voorgeschreven worden. Brede toepassing verwacht.

Additional remarks Fabrikant geeft aan dat voor tanezumab nog geen indicatie voor de lijstprijs is. De prijsstelling zal niet voor het vierde kwartaal van 2020 beschikbaar zijn. De prijs wordt (mede) vastgesteld op basis van de therapeutische waarde tov andere beschikbare therapieën. Hierbij zal ook rekening worden gehouden met de prijzen van huidige beschikbare behandelopties.
