Substantiation De tweede interim‑analyse van de ATOMIC fase III‑studie bij dMMR colonadenocarcinoom laat een 3‑jaars DFS van 86,4% met atezolizumab zien tegenover 76,6% met chemotherapie (HR 0,50; 95% CI 0,35–0,72. Inschatting is een toegevoegde waarde in de adjuvante setting.

Additional remarks In 2022 waren er 2.115 diagnoses dikkedarmkanker, stadium III (1). Tussen 10% en 15% van alle stadium III coloncarcinomen heeft een deficient mismatch repair (dMMR) fenotype (2).
