Op verzoek van de minister van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport (VWS) beoordeelt Zorginstituut Nederland of axicabtagene ciloleucel (Yescarta®; axi-cel) vergoed kan worden uit het basispakket van de zorgverzekering. Start beoordeling dossier in november 2023. Datum publicatie advies verwacht in mei/juni 2024. Substantiation De EFS op 2-jr Yescarta was 41% versus SoC 16%. De mediane OS Yescarta NR versus SOC 25 maanden (NB 56% van de patiënten niet reagerend op SOC kreeg daarna nog immuuntherapie). De kwaliteit van leven verbetert ten opzichte van autologe stamceltransplantatie. Bij chemogevoelige ziekte is er voorkeur voor autologe stamceltransplantatie.
