Substantiation Het geneesmiddel heeft een anti-inflammatoir en daarmee antifibrotische werking en dat zou theoretisch de achteruitgang van nierfunctie bij patiënten met een nierziekte kunnen vertragen. Er is eerder een trial geweest die is gestaakt vanwege toename van hartfalen. Alvorens een uitspraak te kunnen doen is meer informatie nodig over werking/bijwerkingsprofiel en effectiviteit. In deze doelgroep worden ook SGLT2-remmers en finerenone ingezet. Er zal dus ook informatie moeten komen wat de mogelijke meerwaarde is naast deze geneesmiddelen.
