Substantiation Hier is nog geen uitspraak over te doen. Fase 3 trials zijn nog niet afgerond. Fase 2 laat mogelijk een beperkte HbA1c daling zien met gelijk/minder hypo’s maar vaker optreden van ketoacidose. Dit is waarschijnlijk een van de redenen om de restrictie BMI > 27 toe te voegen. Daarnaast zijn er andere voorzorgen te nemen - geen koolhydraatbeperking, extra instructies, evt ketonenmeter (niet vergoed). Daarmee zijn er tal van belemmeringen.
