Substantiation Fase 3 studie (non-peerreviewed yet) laat non-inferioriteit zien ten opzichte van colistine. De verwachting is dat durlobactam / sulbactam pas ingezet zal worden op het moment van resistentie tegen colistine. Colistine krijgt waarschijnlijk de voorkeur, aangezien daar op dit moment meer ervaring mee is.

Additional remarks Het aantal acinetobacter spp isolaten dat in Nederland gekweekt is conform Nethmap 2021 is 15 (1). De verwachting is dat dit het maximum aantal patiënten zal zijn doordat, niet iedereen wordt behandeld en er zijn soms nog alternatieven zoals cipro en cotrim (2).
