Er is een kleine groep patiënten die, ondanks bestaande therapieën, last blijft houden van hypokaliaemie en daardoor regelmatig moet worden opgenomen. Bovendien lijkt het calciummetabolisme gunstiger te verlopen in vergelijking met de huidige behandeling. Er zijn echter nog geen fase 3 data. Dit vormt een beperkt deel van de hypoparathyreoïdie-populatie. De inschatting is dat dit ongeveer 50 patiënten zal bedragen. In 2021 waren er 13 patiënten die NatPar kregen.
