In deze studie zitten echter voornamelijk patiënten met solide tumoren die een zeer agressief ziekteverloop kennen (onder andere hooggradige glioma, pancreas-, cholangio-, niet-kleincellig longcarcinoom) waardoor de behandelduur met erdafitinib waarschijnlijk korter is. Oncology. 2019 Additional remarks Voor de solide tumoren die in RAGNAR worden onderzocht is het momenteel niet mogelijk om een inschatting te maken van het patiëntvolume dat in aanmerking zal komen voor erdafitinib. Dit komt voornamelijk omdat de diagnostiek rondom FGFR alteraties in Nederland nog moet worden georganiseerd. Daarnaast verschilt de frequentie waarmee FGFR-alteraties optreden per tumortype en gaat het om uitbehandelde patiënten waarbij het de vraag is in hoeverre deze patiënten nog een aanvullende behandeling aan kunnen/wensen te ondergaan. In analogie met andere tumor agnostische middelen zouden 10 tot 20 patiënten per jaar mogelijk in aanmerking kunnen komen voor erdafitinib.
