De meeste artsen lijken 1 keer per week injectie niet perse een voordeel te vinden, zeker niet waar het aanpassen van de dosering betreft, anderzijds valt 1 keer per week wel te combineren met bijvoorbeeld 1 keer per week GLP-1ra. Mogelijk is de toediening vooral een voordeel voor een subgroep van patiënten in de thuiszorg of psychiatrie.
