Substantiation Er is een fase 2 single-arm, open-label basket trial uitgevoerd. De resultaten lijken vergelijkbaar met topotecan. Het toxiciteitsprofiel van lurbinectedin lijkt voordeliger te zijn.
Frequency of administration 1 times every 3 weeks
Dosage per administration 3,2mg/m² intraveneus over 60 minuten infusie op dag een van elke 21-daagse cyclus.

Additional remarks In Nederland worden jaarlijks ongeveer 1.400 nieuwe gevallen van kleincellig longcarcinoom (SCLC) vastgesteld (1). Ongeveer 60 tot 70% van deze patiënten komt in aanmerking voor tweedelijns behandeling na progressie op eerdere platinumbevattende chemotherapie, al dan niet in combinatie met een PD-1/PD-L1-remmer (2). Er wordt verwacht dat er mogelijk substitutie van topotecan zal plaatsvinden. Dit betekent dat het verwachte patiëntvolume voor Lurbinectedin als tweedelijns monotherapie wordt geschat op ongeveer 240 patiënten per jaar in Nederland op basis van gebruikersaantallen van topotecan in 2024 voor deze indicatie (3).
