Substantiation In de fase 3 studie (NCT03197766) waarin vosoritide vergeleken werd met placebo was na 52 weken een significante stijging van de jaarlijkse groeisnelheid van 1,57cm per jaar waargenomen in de vosoritide-groep. De effecten zijn klein, mogelijk zal er meer effect te zien zijn in patiënten met een ernstig ziektebeeld. Het is nog onduidelijk of de behandelde patiënten uiteindelijk op volwassen leeftijd ook significant langer zullen zijn.
