Substantiation Klinische studies lijken op dit moment te duiden op mogelijke meerwaarde ten opzichte van pomalidomide / dexamethason, maar nog te vroeg om hier harde uitspraken over te doen. Er lijken echter effectievere middelen aan te komen in de eerste en tweede lijn. Opmerkingen MWG; er is in een gerandomiseerde studie aangetoond dat behandeling met Elo-pom-dex de mediane PFS klinisch en statistisch significant verlengd ten opzichte van pom-dex. Derhalve wordt een plaats binnen de richtlijn gezien bij die patienten die IMiD en PI refractair zijn. Binnen die setting heeft ook REP (lenalidomide-cyclofosfamide-prednison), alsmede PED (pomalidomide-cyclofosfamide-dexamethason) en daratumumab monotherapie een plaats. Mogelijk 231 op basis van de verwachting van 33% marktaandeel in 3e/4e behandellijn. Er lijken echter effectievere middelen aan te komen in de eerste en tweede lijn, het marktaandeel zal naar verwachting dan ook lager zijn. De verwachting is dat 5% in derdelijn, maar een duidelijk hoger % vanaf vierde lijn met Elo-Pom-Dex behandeld zal worden. De inschatting zoals boven lijkt dus zeker geen overschatting.
