Substantiation In de fase 2 studie (NODE-1) werden neutrale resultaten gevonden. De fase 3 resultaten worden nog afgewacht. Er is een piek van dit ziektebeeld op jonge en oude leeftijd. Voor jongere patiënten is medicatie minder geschikt en wordt ablatie aangeraden. Oudere patiënten krijgen bijvoorbeeld verapamil. Mogelijk zal een kleine groep liever een neusspray als toediening willen in plaats van een tablet.
