Substantiation De data uit de fase 3 trial met izaxomib zijn nog niet gepubliceerd maar wel in abstract vorm verschenen. Hierin werd een significante verlenging van de PFS gevonden.

Additional remarks Het jaarlijks aantal nieuwe multipel myeloma patiënten bedraagt 1.117, waarvan 90% symptomatisch: 1.006. Het aantal patiënten dat non-fit is voor ASCT (>70 jaar en >65 met comorbiditeiten) komt neer op 352 patiënten.

Additional remarks 12 Cycles (1 jaar) x€ 6614,14 (AIP 4 mg) = € 79.369,68 (exclusief BTW). Momenteel is ixazomib vergoed middels een financiële afspraak tussen Takeda en de zorgverzekeraars. De werkelijke kosten zullen daarom lager liggen.
