Substantiation Op dit moment is de combinatie van tacrolimus met mycofenolaatmofetil (en prednison) al de standaardbehandeling (waarbij MMF off-label wordt gegeven). Een alternatief is de combinatie tacrolimus + azathioprine + prednison, of tacrolimus + everolimus + prednison. Voor de eerste combinatie is dat inferieur aan de combinatie met MMF (aangezien er meer rejecties zijn), voor de combi met everolimus is dat therapeutisch gelijkwaardig.
