Substantiation Uit de resultaten van de ATTRACTION-3 studie is naar voren gekomen dat patiënten die chemotherapie ontvangen een median overall survival van 8,4 maanden hadden en patiënten in de nivolumabgroep 10,9 maanden. (HR, 0.77; 95% CI, 0.62-0.96; P = .019).

Additional remarks Aantal patiënten met slokdarmkanker stadium II/III/IV betrof 1.596. In ongeveer 25% tot 30% van de gevallen zal het een plaveisel carcinoom betreffen. De werkgroep verwacht een beperkt patiëntvolume.

Gemiddeld aantal toedieningen nog niet bekend, prijs ingeschat in lijn met andere indicaties van nivolumab. Voor alle indicatie van nivolumab geldt een financieel arrangement die is voortgekomen uit de onderhandelingen in de sluis lopend tot eind 2020.(Het huidige Opdivo financiële arrangement is met 1 jaar verlengd (t/m 31 december 2020))
