De inschatting is dat hiervan ongeveer 1.500 patiënten gediagnosticeerd worden met hooggradig niet-spierinvasief blaascarcinoom (HG-NMIBC). Een deel hiervan krijgt BCG spoeling na een transurethrale resectie van de blaas.
