Ruxolitinib is al langere tijd op de markt en geeft lokaal weinig bijwerkingen. Lokale corticosteroiden zijn de eerste keuze. In het geval van bijwerkingen bij corticosteroïden zullen patiënten mogelijk overstappen op ruxolitinib.
