Deze indicatie geldt specifiek bij patiënten met WHO Groep 1 en functionele klasse II of III. PAH WHO groep 1 komt voor bij 15 tot 50 patiënten per miljoen mensen. Voor Nederland, met zo'n 18 miljoen inwoners, betekent dit dat er ongeveer tussen de 270 en 900 patiënten met WHO groep 1 PAH zullen zijn. Deze patiënten worden echter al behandeld met huidige behandelopties. Afhankelijk van de effectiviteit zal seralutinib mogelijk een gedeelte van de markt in kunnen nemen (2).
