Mede omdat tezepelumab mechanistisch op een ander niveau ingrijpt dan dupilumab en mepolizumab, bestaat in theorie de mogelijkheid dat er biologicals gecombineerd gaan worden bij mensen die onvoldoende reageren op de behandeling met één individuele biological. Het totale patiëntvolume op biologicals voor deze indicatie zal mogelijk gestage groei vertonen komende jaren (2).
