Additional remarks Diabetesfonds: al ruim 1,2 miljoen Nederlanders hebben diabetes en elke week komen daar 1.200 bij. Dit gaat om 62.400 Nederlanders per jaar. Gezien nierschade afhankelijk is van het aantal jaren dat iemand leeft met diabetes zullen veelal niet de nieuwe patiënten in aanmerking komen. Nierstichting: 28% van de mensen met diabetes heeft chronische nierschade. Inschatting is dat dit een latere lijns behandeling wordt en er ongeveer 100 patiënten per jaar voor in aanmerking komen voor finerenone binnen deze indicatie.
