Current treatment options	Behandel patiënten met een acuut herseninfarct zonder relevante contra-indicaties zo snel mogelijk met intraveneus alteplase, in ieder geval binnen 4,5 uur na het optreden van de verschijnselen. Dosering intraveneus alteplase: 0,9 mg/kg lichaamsgewicht met een maximum van 90 mg, de eerste 10% toegediend als bolus, direct gevolgd door infusie van de overige 90% over één uur.
