Op basis van de criteria voor onderlinge vervangbaarheid adviseert het Zorginstituut om patiromer (Veltassa®) op te nemen op bijlage 1A in een nieuw te vormen cluster samen met calciumpolystyreensulfonaat (CPS). Voor het voorschrijven van het middel gelden bepaalde voorwaarden.
